With Halloween parties becoming increasingly popular either as an alternative to or in addition to trick-or-treating, many parents are looking for acceptably spooky Halloween entertainment that isn’t too scary for or otherwise unacceptable for kids. Below are a few movie titles that may fit the bill. Please note, however, that — with the exception of The Nightmare Before Christmas — these films haven’t been rated by the Decent Films Guide.
